There are direct flights from more than a dozen UK airports, and from New York JFK, to Prague’s Ruzyně Airport (t220 113 314, wwww.prg.aero/cs), 10km northwest of the city. Several international routes (including one from London Stansted by Ryanair) serve Brno, and there are a couple of flights a week to and from Karlovy Vary (wwww.airport-k-vary.cz).
